At 12 years old, Gideon Schrock worked alongside his father, building cabinetry and furniture. A natural at woodworking, by the age of 23, Gideon branched out and began constructing cabinets on his own. With over 19 years of experience under his belt, Gideon used his father's tireless work ethic to create and lead his own team at Schrock's Country Kitchens and Furniture. 

James Edrington founded the E.M.M.A. Woodshop Co. in the fall of 2015 with the intention of creating heirloom quality furniture and to provide a refinishing service the was sorely lacking in the area. After several successful years where the business consistently grew James and Gideon were introduced and a new partnership began. In 2021 James and his brother Kacey became full time installers for Schrock's Country Kitchens and partners in the long term growth of Schrock’s as a business. 

2024 brought new opportunities for both Gideon and James. With Gideon and Mary feeling the calling of God to come back to Michigan, Gideon and James formed a partnership and LLC Schrock's Country Kitchens and Furniture. With Gideon, continuing to lead in designing and quality assurance, Schrock's Country Kitchens and Furniture will continue to provide the same high-quality they have become known for. James and his wife purchased the cabinet shop and furniture store. James will continue to run the cabinet operation and Sallie will take over the furniture side.
